According to Marriage and Death Notices from The Lutheran Observer, 1831-1861 issue December 8, 1854. page 121, they were married by the Rev. F.T. Warner on November 2nd.. Joseph died on 25 October 1911 in Winston County,, Mississippi, at age 78. His body was interred in Noxapater,, Winston county,, Mississippi, in Methodist Church.
