He married Sarah McAden Hall in Person county, North Carolina, on 25 November 1833. Daniel died in 1891 in Springfield, greene co., Missouri. His body was interred in Greene county, Missouri, in Mt. Comfort cemetery.
     Daniel is said to have kidnapped a Cherokee maiden and named her Sara Hall. She is believed to be his 3rd wife.

     Edward was born on 27 June 1921 in Demopolis, Morengo County, Alabama. He was the son of Albert Clinton Chandler and Eva Inez Cherry. He married Delores DeWitt in Charleston, South Carolina, in December 1947. Edward died on 1 February 1954 in Sea of Japan at age 32.
     Edward was an identical twin to Edwin Marshall Chandler. He was killed in an army transport plane accident in the Sea of Japan on February 1, 1954. All on board were lost. His twin was scheduled to be on the same plane but at the last minute decided to go by train, otherwise he too would have been lost.
