     Luther was born on 31 January 1909 at Clay County,, Mississippi. He was the son of Columbus Luther Savage and Mary Alice Watkins. Luther Lois Savage married Eva Laura Brown. Luther died on 19 July 1977 at Stilwell, Adair county, Oklahoma, at age 68. Funeral services were conducted at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Stilwell with Glen D. Farnsworth of Siloam Springs, Arkansas as the officiating Clergyman. His body was interred on 22 July 1977 at Stilwell, Adair county, Oklahoma, at Stilwell City Cemetery.

     Majorie was born on 17 September 1922 at Supulpa, Creek county, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of John Brown Savage and Olive Mentie Wolfe. She married Ray Junius McNeil on 26 December 1942.
     When Majorie applied for her social security benefits it was discovered that her name on her birth certificate was Mary Margaret. It was corrected to Majorie Adeline.

     Majorie Lyon Savage Ph.D. was born on 29 November 1917 Majorie was a professor at Mississipppi State College For Women at Columbus, Mississippi.
Majorie never married. She was the daughter of James Schoffner Savage and Sallie Lyon Camp. Majorie Lyon Savage Ph.D. died in 1997.

According to Marriage and Death Notices from The Lutheran Observer, 1831-1861 issue December 8, 1854. page 121, they were married by the Rev. F.T. Warner on November 2nd.. Mary died on 3 May 1899 at age 59.
