     Obeda was born in 1861. He was the son of James Anderson Savage and Elizabeth "Betty" Shaw. He married Lula Shoffner in January 1890. Excerpt from "The Winston Signal" January 25, 1890: Rev. O.L.Savage, a young Methodist minister, who was born and raised in the northern part of this county, was recently united in marriage to Miss Lula Shoffner of Water Valley, Miss..
     Obeda become a Methodist Minister, serving in the North Mississippi Conference of the Methodist Church in Marshall County (1886). Obeda was known as O.L.. He was said to be a big man, weighing around 300 pounds.

     Olin Raphiel was born on 20 August 1925 in West Point,, Clay county,, Mississippi. She is the daughter of James Raphiel Savage and Lucy Unger. She married Robert Franklin (Jr.) McFadden in 1st Methodist church, West Point,, Clay county,, Mississippi, on 14 February 1948. Mother opposed her marriage to Robert and did not attend the wedding. Later things were worked out and everyone was fine.
     Olin Ray worked for the telephone company after finishing high school. During World War II there was a shortage of operators in the areas impacted by military installations and she worked in the Miami Florida area for a while. She did not work after she married. After her husband died she worked as an insurance clerk for the local (West Point) hospital until she retired.

     Robert was born on 15 September 1880 in Mississippi. He was the son of Fletcher Anderson Savage and Margaret Ann Chandler. He married Katherine Lafayette Smith on 29 January 1909. Robert died on 11 January 1934 in Prattville,, Autauga county,, Alabama, at age 53. His body was interred in Prattville,, Autauga county,, Alabama, in Oak Hill cemetery.
     Robert registered for the World War I draft in Prattville, Alabama.
The following comes from The Alabama Blue Book and Social Register, 1929.." Robert Elisha Savage, City Clerk and Treasurer..he was educated in the schools of Winston County, Mississippi...Mr. Savage is now City Clerk and Superintendent of the Water Works. He is a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church; Mason; Woodman of the World. Married; Katherine Lafayette Smith, the daughter of Daniel Newman and Ada (Ellis) Smith. Mrs. Savage was born and educated in Prattville, Alabama. She is a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and is Treasurer of the Ladies Aid Society, of that church. They have two daughters, Katherine Lula Savage; Ada Margaret Savage." Robert died on 14 August 1964 in Edinburg, Hidalgo, Texas, at age 85. He was buried on 16 August 1964 in Alamo, Texas; ....Robert's body is intered in St. Joseph cemetery.
