George Gnann was the son of Bartholomus Gnann and Anna Mayer. He was baptized on 16 September 1626. He married Sarah Nusser on 18 March 1666. His body was interred on 18 December 1670.
     George, called "Weissbart" (White Beard) was a farmer in the upper village.

     George Albert Gnann was the son of George Bergman Gnann and Rebecca Naomi Dasher. He married Ella Derrick on 3 February 1880. George died on 7 August 1890.

     George was born on 28 October 1824. He was the son of Jacob Gnann and Christina (Rahn) Metzger. He married Rebecca Naomi Dasher on 16 December 1842. George died on 23 September 1900 at age 75.

     Hans Gnann was the son of Martin Gnann. He married Christina Fetzer on 24 October 1564. Hans died on 15 July 1600.

     Jacob Gnann was the son of Jacob Gnann and Hannah Catherine Metzger. He married Christina (Rahn) Metzger on 17 December 1812.

     Jacob was born circa 1749 at Langenau,, Germany. He was the son of George Gnann and Anna Gress. He married Hannah Catherine Metzger. Jacob died in 1814.

     Jacob Gnann was the son of George Gnann and Sarah Nusser. He was baptized on 2 January 1668. He married Lucia Gress on 31 October 1701. His body was interred on 9 April 1752.
     Jacob was a weaver.

     Jacob was born on 2 September 1708. He was the son of Jacob Gnann.

     Jacob was born on 18 May 1850. He was the son of George Bergman Gnann and Rebecca Naomi Dasher. He married Harriet Pelham Dasher on 17 January 1878. Jacob died on 21 September 1923 at age 73.

     James Augustus Gnann was the son of George Bergman Gnann and Rebecca Naomi Dasher.

     Jane was born on 29 March 1827. She was the daughter of Jacob Gnann and Christina (Rahn) Metzger. She married Patrick H. Stanton. Jane died on 1 December 1865 at age 38.

     Jerg Gnann was the son of Hans Gnann and Christina Fetzer. He was baptized on 15 September 1565. He married Barbara Schrier after 10 February 1628.
     Jerg was a judge and farmer in the upper village on the Aach.

     Jim Gnann was the son of George Albert Gnann and Ella Derrick. He married Inez Gee.

     John was born on 18 February 1756 at Ebenezer,, Georgia. He was the son of George Gnann and Anna Gress. John died on 18 August 1757 at age 1.

     John was born on 2 April 1860. He was the son of George Bergman Gnann and Rebecca Naomi Dasher. He married Ella Gertrude Weitman. John died on 1 July 1936 at age 76.

     Mamie Gnann was the daughter of George Albert Gnann and Ella Derrick. She married John Pope. Mamie died in 1924.

     
     The Gnanns came from Langenau, in the Deaconry of Ulm, Wurttemburg, Germany. The records for the first seven genrations were taken from the Church Community Register of Langenau, Deaconry of Ulm. Compiled by Mr. Karl Friedrich von Frank of Schloss Senftenegg, Austria. The information for the first twelve generations is taken from a book published in 1955 by The Salzberger Society and edited by Pearl Rahn Gnann. The Georgia Salzburger Society which is dedicated to the decendants of the original group of settlers which came from Salzburg to Georgia. The names of the ships (usually mentioned as the Transports) that brought the first three groups of Salzburgers to Georgia are "Purysburg" commanded by Captain Coram, which sailed from Rotterdam on December 14, 1733, and arrived at Savannah, Georgia, March 12, 1734. The second Transport was the "Prince Frederick", commanded by Captain Dunday, which sailed from Rotterdam on October 31, 1734, and arrived at Savannah December 28, 1734. The third Transport was the "London Merchant", commanded by Captian Johan Thomas, which sailed from Rotterdam on September 30, 1741, and arrived at Savannah December 2, 1741.

Martin Gnann, the first Gnann that we have any record of, was the father of Hans Gnann.

     Solomon was born on 24 January 1762. He was the son of George Gnann and Anna Gress. He married Salome Webber.

     Will Gnann was the son of George Albert Gnann and Ella Derrick. He married Lula Thompson.

     William was born on 10 October 1813. He was the son of Jacob Gnann and Christina (Rahn) Metzger. William died on 12 November 1813.
