Walter died on 19 April 1999 at Jackson,, Hinds county,, Mississippi, at age 86. Murray died of heart failure at Whispering Pines Hospice.. His body was interred on 22 April 1999 at Jackson, Hinds county, Mississippi, at Lakewood cemetery.
     Murray attended Port Arthur College, obtained FCC license.Established radio stations in Mississippi and Louisiana. Established Ellington Electronics Supply in Jackson, Mississippi and later Tupelo, Mississippi. Said to have given his first cousin Bill Stracener his first airplane ride. I remember when we would visit that he did repair work for the Jackson Police Department on their car radios and he would let me ride with him when he went to the edge of town to test them.
