W.B.Selah at Galloway Memorial Methodist Church on Thanksgiving afternoon, the 22 of November 1956.. Delores died on 22 February 1995 at Jackson,, Hinds county,, Mississippi, at age 61. Snookie spent 30 days in the hospital before she died at 6:30 on a Wednesday night. She had the upper right lobe of her left lung removed because of a malignant tumor discovered in a routine physical examination. The cause of death was atelectasis, pneumonia and cardio respiratory failure.. Her body was interred on 25 February 1995 at Jackson,, Hinds county,, Mississippi, at Lakewood Cemetery.
