MUSIC PROGRAM
Our program consists of one adult choir and a children's choir. The children's choir perform by themselves and also with the adult choir.
On July 13, 2006 eighteen members of the choir, along with choir spouses, traveled to London, England and Edinburgh, Scotland for 12 days. The purpose of the trip was to present a concert of sacred music at St. Giles' Cathedral and Greyfriars Tolbooth and Highland Kirk Church in Edinburgh. The group left Atlanta on the 13th and arrived in London at 8 the next morning. Most of the choir stayed in London for five days, and then traveled via train to Edinburgh. The group left Edinburgh on July 24th.
Church choirs usually have a closeness within their membership due to the nature of having to work and cooperate together to obtain a finished product. Our choir has always had a wonderful fellowship among its members, and this trip brought all of us even closer as we serve God with music each Sunday. We are very fortunate to have a director and choir members with music backgrounds.
